If you’re like most people, you’re starting to hear a lot about artificial intelligence (AI), which is defined as any computer system able to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence, such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and translation between languages.
Do robots fall under the category? Yes. Do computers that improve their performance over time fall under that category? Yup. And what about chatbots? Well, kind of sort of — they don’t actually “learn” but they do recognize speech and can help humans with decisions.
The larger question is whether or not AI will steal your job.
That’s what many people are afraid of. Should they be afraid? I’ve answered that question in the short, 60-second video below. Check it out.
What are your thoughts about artificial intelligence? Are you concerned about it? Do you think it will steal your job?
